Introduction

Rotary kiln systems are widely used in cement and lime manufacturing plants to carry out continuous high-temperature processing of raw materials. Receiving & storage — separate storage for limestone, clay, and additives with covered yards or silos; moisture protection and dust control systems.

Crushing & screening — raw material size reduction using crushers and screens to achieve uniform feed size.

Raw material preparation — proportioning and blending of limestone, clay, and corrective materials to maintain chemical consistency.

Preheating & feeding — raw material passes through preheater systems to improve thermal efficiency before entering the kiln.

Rotary kiln calcination — controlled high-temperature heating inside the rotary kiln enables clinker formation or limestone calcination.

Cooling & discharge — clinker or lime is cooled using coolers to stabilize product quality and improve handling.

Dust collection & emission control — bag filters, cyclones, and pollution control systems reduce dust and gaseous emissions.

Packaging & storage — final clinker or lime transferred to storage silos or dispatched for further processing.
