NPK Fertilizer Production Plant
Usage: The production of Multiple Fertilizers like NP, NPK, GSSP, CMS Compound Fertilizer Granules.
Production capacity: 5-30 TPH
Raw materials: Compound fertilizer powders.
Granular Shape: Ball type
Introduction
NPK compound fertilizer production Plant are widely used to produce balanced compound fertilizers by combining nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) with other additives in a single continuous process. Typical annual capacities range from about 3,000 to 100,000+ tons, and a complete line can batch, granulate, dry, cool, screen, coat, and pack finished granules. Manufacturers design lines to handle different formulations and concentrations so the same plant can produce a variety of NPK ratios.
These systems commonly produce spherical or oval granules with diameters typically between 2 mm and 6 mm, using granulators such as rotary drum, disc (pan), or extrusion types depending on feedstock and desired particle properties. Modern plants often include automatic batching, PLC control, energy‑efficient dryers/coolers, and dust‑control systems to ensure consistent particle size, nutrient uniformity, and safe operation. This makes the output easy to store, transport, and apply, improving nutrient uptake and field performance.

Production Process
Receiving & storage — separate silos for urea, phosphate sources, potash, and micro‑nutrients; dust control and humidity protection.
Crushing & screening — size reduction for any oversized raw materials to ensure uniform mixing & distribution.
Precise batching & mixing — automated weigh‑belt or loss‑in‑weight feeders feed a horizontal mixer to achieve the target N:P:K ratio.
Granulation — disc (pan) granulator, rotary drum, or extrusion depending on formulation and desired granule shape; binder or steam may be used to aid agglomeration.
Drying & cooling — rotary or fluidized bed dryers reduce moisture to specification; coolers stabilize granules before screening.
Screening & recycling — oversize crushed and fines recycled to granulator to maintain particle distribution.
Coating & blending — anti‑caking agents, micronutrients, or polymer coatings applied for storage stability and controlled release.
Packaging & storage — automatic bagging lines (25–50 kg), big‑bag or bulk loading; warehouse with moisture control.
